A first session Kinetic Chain Assessment informs the key areas that will shape your training, ensuring exercises prescribed are both safe and effective.
Most people carry minor imbalances or unresolved injuries. When the root cause of these issues isn’t addressed, the body continues to function but inefficiently. This inefficiency places additional stress on muscles and joints, which over time can aggravate existing injuries or lead to the development of new ones.
Factors such as injury, poor posture, repetitive movements or a sedentary lifestyle, whether in everyday life or sport, can cause the body to fall out of alignment, affecting how your bodies function and move.

Unfortunately, times have changed with health and safety, not spending as much time outside, possibly more on screens. Sadly, our children aren’t having the opportunity to learn their movement patterns in the same way. By not developing these fundamental skills it is limiting their ability to develop into as robust athletes or for filling their potential. It has never been more vital for young athletes to participate in age-appropriate training, to prioritise Long Term Athletic Development by building a strong foundation. I focus on using goals to improve overall athletic ability, enhance performance, to help ensure injury resilience and prepare young athletes for the demands of their sports. I always consider proper technique, individual maturity in a safe training environment.
Depending on the school your child attends during term time I have been able to use the school’s facilities and my own equipment to train young athletes without interfering with their studies.
I work with a wide range of young athletes helping them work towards their sporting goals and even gaining sports scholarships.

Scientific evidence for lowering body fat shows that dedicated, short intervals of overall body focused resistance training are much more effective than regular, steady state cardiovascular exercise.
Spending countless hours on stationary cardio equipment or pounding the roads is not just boring but it's also counterproductive and it can be detrimental to your body, both physically and hormonally.
Excessive cardio can leave you feeling drained, with reduced muscle mass and a higher risk of repetitive strain injuries. Over time, this approach may even work against your goals, potentially contributing to increased body fat rather than improved overall fitness.

I understand it is never easy starting a new regime and even harder to stick with one but I will help you to establish new behaviours and habits that will accelerate your results faster than before.
I have found most diets were intended only as short term, quick fix solutions but generally these practices are unhealthy in the way they try to achieve their aims.
After eating higher quality nutrition that is right for you and for your metabolism, you will have improved energy levels and ultimately help you get the desired body composition.
